Scholastic GO! contains more than 115,000 articles covering every core-curriculum subject. The articles and their illustrations are derived from the content of seven Scholastic encyclopedia databases: Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, The New Book of Knowledge, America the Beautiful, Lands and Peoples, Amazing Animals of the World, and The New Book of Popular Science.

A resource for preschoolers and children in early elementary grades. Early Learning helps with reading comprehension by reading aloud buttons, instructions, subtitles, and titles when they are “moused over” or touched. Also included are games, stories, and activities.

OverDrive eReading Room: Kids Collection offers e-books, digital audiobooks, and streaming videos. The Kids Collection includes picture books, youth fiction, youth nonfiction, and more. Kids can browse, sample, place holds and borrow titles appropriate for their age range and reading level. No adult content will appear in the search results. CultureGrams goes beyond basic facts and figures with local perspectives on more than 200 countries, detailing daily life and culture, including history, customs, and lifestyles.

NC Kids Digital Library offers e-books, audiobooks, streaming videos, and Read-Alongs. This collection was specifically designed for youth ages pre-K through 4th grade and includes picture books, youth fiction, youth nonfiction, and more. Browsing can be done by subject, format or genre, and the advanced search feature allows filtering by availability, language, date added, and much more. Titles are accessed via OverDrive. TumbleBooks is a collection of animated, talking picture books. TumbleBooks can be read by you or read to you! Our TumbleBook collection includes story books, books in French and Spanish for language learning, read-along books, non-fiction books, puzzles and games.

Kanopy Kids highlights films and TV series that inspire and inform, helping children develop empathy, mindfulness, and self-esteem through entertaining and educational videos. Kanopy Kids categories include TV Series, Learning Languages, Animated Storybooks, Anime Favorites, Classic Films, and Movies for the whole family. Parents can set up parental controls for their Kanopy accounts.
